WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley softball team's 12-game road stretch continues at American International, with doubleheaders this Saturday and Sunday.
Baker the batter
Maddie Baker is tied for the Northeast 10 lead in doubles with 11. She has six multi-hit games in her last 10 contests, hitting .484 (15-for-31) during that stretch. Baker's .333 batting average leads Bentley.

Michelle Diaz totaled four hits in Bentley's doubleheader at Southern New Hampshire this week (April 8). She had two hits in each game, raising her season batting average to .323.
Taking the brakes off Burke
Bella Burke had a slow start to the season. She was limited to only two hits through her first 15 games of the season. In her last 14 games, however, Burke is hitting .417 (15-for-36) with four doubles and a triple.
A new streak begins
Jess Morrison's hitting streak ended at eight games when she was held hitless in the first game of a doubleheader at Southern New Hampshire (April 8). However, she got a hit in the second game at SNHU, hopeful that it's the start of a new streak.
Scouting American International (9-19, 5-11 NE10)
The Yellow Jackets enter the weekend with four consecutive wins, including two at Pace this week (April 8). Still, AIC has the second lowest team batting average in the NE10 (.253). The team's leading hitters are Isabel Kahli Robinson and Nevaeh Trejo, both of whom are hitting .352. Trejo leads AIC in RBI with 15.
