MANCHESTER, N.H. – A trio of Falcons put forth multi-hit efforts, but the Bentley softball team lost both ends of a doubleheader at Saint Anselm Monday.

Bentley 5, Saint Anselm 13 (5 inn.)
Maddie Baker,
Becca Harris, and
Bella Burke each collected two hits in the first game Monday. Baker went 2-for-3 with an RBI single in the third inning, while Harris also went 2-for-3 with an RBI single in the fifth inning.
Burke finished the game 2-for-2 with an RBI double in the top of the fourth inning, which cut the Falcons' deficit to 5-4. However, the Hawks rallied for eight runs in the home half of the fourth inning to pull away for the win.

Bentley 1, Saint Anselm 9 (6 inn.)
Saint Anselm scored three runs in both the fifth and sixth innings to win Monday's second game.
Bentley ended the second inning in a 3-0 deficit, but the Falcons put a run on the board in the third.
Bella Burke led off the inning by reaching base on an error, and she moved into scoring position when
Maddie Baker drew a walk. Burke came in to score when
Emma Callahan delivered a single through the left side.
Following Monday's games, Baker has tallied at least one hit in 10 of her last 11 games. She has a .485 batting average during that stretch.
Jess Morrison got a hit in each game at Saint Anselm, extending her hitting streak to eight games.
Bentley returns to the Granite State Wednesday, April 8, for a doubleheader at Southern New Hampshire starting at 3 p.m.
