Waltham, Mass. – Bentley men's tennis upset the first place team in the Northeast 10, Adelphi, 4-3 on Senior Day as the team pushes for playoff positioning.
The team first celebrated its lone senior
Nikolai Pran before the match, then proceeded to defeat Panthers for its biggest win of the season so far. Pran won a key match in No. 6 singles.
Adelphi swept the doubles matches to take an early 1-0 lead.
But Bentley won four of the six singles matches to emerge with the victory.

Jairaj Sehwani,
Ryan Reda and Pran won their matches.
Chadha won the No. 2 match in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6. Sehwani defeated Thomas Horsley in No. 4, 6-2, 6-4.
Reda got the better of Matias Hoyos in the No. 5 match, 6-1, 6-3.
Pran had a three set, come-from-behind win in his match to cap Senior Day. After dropping the opening set 4-6, he rallied to win the next two sets 6-1, 7-6 to win the match.
Bentley improved to 4-5 in NE10 matches and 5-7 overall. They next play on Monday at Holy Cross.
