GOFFSTOWN, N.H. – The postseason run for Bentley men's tennis came to a close in the semifinals of the Northeast 10 Championship when they were beaten by the top seed Adelphi 4-0 on Thursday.
The Falcons came in as the #4 seed after qualifying for the playoffs on the final day of the regular season. A big part of the postseason push was a 4-3 win over Adelphi on April 16 on Senior Day.
Adelphi won the doubles point for an early 1-0 lead, by winning the No. 1 and No. 3 matches.
In singles, Adelphi took the No. 2-No. 4 matches to get the points they needed to clinch the match.
Adelphi will face either Assumption or Southern New Hampshire in the finals on Friday.
