WALTHAM, Mass. – Franklin Pierce improved to 4-4 in Northeast 10 matches with a 7-0 victory over Bentley on Monday afternoon.
The No. 1 doubles match between Bentley's
Isabella Kaldy and
Sonali Parasu and FPU's Ainhoa Ordonez and Gabriela Yamate went to a tiebreak after it was tied 6-6. But FPU's team of Ordonez and Yamate won the tiebreak 7-4 to win the match.
The Ravens led the match 1-0 overall after the doubles matches and they were able to complete the victory in singles play.
Bentley will next play on Thursday when they host Saint Anselm.
