Bentley named #1 seed for first ever NCAA Regional appearance

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley baseball team's historic 2026 season continues in Waltham as the #1 seed in the NCAA DII East Region. The Falcons are hosting the program's first ever NCAA Championship appearance Thursday, May 14. Bentley hosts #4 Wilmington (Del.) and #5 Goldey-Beacom.

#2 Molloy is also a host for the East Region. It hosts #3 Southern New Hampshire and #6 Felician. The advancing team from each East Region site will play a three-game series the following week.

Bentley earned the NCAA automatic qualifier by winning the Northeast 10 Championship for the first time in program history Sunday. As the conference's #2 seed, the Falcons outlasted #1 Southern New Hampshire, 11-9 (click HERE).

The Falcons enter the NCAA Championship with a record of 39-13, easily the most wins in program history. The previous record of 33 wins was achieved last year.
