Bentley announces 2026 Hall of Fame class, including six individuals and the 2001 field hockey team

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley has announced its Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026 featuring six individual standouts and the NCAA Division II 2001 field hockey national championship team.

The six individuals to be inducted this fall are Courtney Finn '13 (women's basketball), Jon Gozzo '96 (men's lacrosse), Bryant Johnson '11 (football), Alex Kearney '10 (volleyball), Kevin MacIntyre '85 (baseball), and Nicola (Mancini) Colucci '16 (women's diving).

The 2001 field hockey national champions will be the first team to ever be inducted. The Bentley squad defeated East Stroudsburg at home to cap a 22-1 season and become the first Bentley team to win an NCAA national championship.

Finn was a starting guard on the 2014 undefeated national championship team. She was a WBCA All-American in 2014 and a two-time All-NE10 First Team selection (2013 & 2014). In her career, Bentley went 124-11 with four NE10 regular season and tournament championships, and three trips to the Elite Eight. Finn was named Bentley's Outstanding Female Senior Athlete for the 2012-13 academic year. She is currently Bentley's Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations and its Senior Women's Administrator.

Gozzo was one of the early standouts of the men's lacrosse program that won back-to-back NE10 championships in 1995 and 1996. He was the MVP of the '96 championship game and earned USILA All-America honorable mention honors that same season. Gozzo was also All-NE10 First Team in '96.

Johnson was Bentley's starting quarterback and team captain for three consecutive seasons from 2009-11. A dual-threat QB, he ranks in the top-four in school history in passing yards (7,473), passing touchdowns (66) and total yards (8,189). As a senior in 2010, he was the NE10 MVP and NE10 First Team. Johnson was named Bentley's Outstanding Male Senior Athlete for the 2011-12 academic year. He also played for the baseball team in 2012.

Kearney remains Bentley's all-time leader in kills (1,455) and the only player in program history to be named All-NE10 First Team in four straight seasons (2006-09). A two-time AVCA All-Region selection (2006 & 2008), she helped lead the Falcons to the NCAA regional each year of her career and to the 2006 NE10 tournament championship.

MacIntyre pitched for Bentley from 1982-85 and ranks in the top eight in team history in wins. He is one of seven pitchers to have appeared in at least 50 games and he was the first Bentley pitcher to notch 15 career wins. He was an everyday player as a senior and earned All-NE10 First Team in '85.

Colucci was a four-time CSCAA All-American, and she won the Northeast 10 Women's Diver of the Year award three times (2013, 2014, 2016). She owns the NE10 Championship record in the 3-meter diving event and was Bentley's 2016 Outstanding Female Senior Athlete.
