Learfield Cup Standings

Bentley finished 50th out of 251 Division II schools, for its best placement since the 2010-11 season and the school's third best finish in its history. The Falcons earned 357 points, the second most in school history behind the 363 points from the 2006-07 season.

This year's numbers improved upon last year's 56th place finish and 346 points.

The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) administers the Learfield Cup, which counts 15 sports in the final Division II standings, four of which must be volleyball, men's and women' basketball and baseball. The next highest (11 max.) sports scored for each institution, regardless of gender, are used in the standings.

Points are awarded based on each's school's finish in NCAA Championships throughout the academic year.

The fall season saw Bentley earn the 19th most points in Division II. The volleyball team won its third straight East Region championship, and football, men's soccer and field hockey earned spots in the NCAA tournament.

In the winter, both the men's and women's basketball teams qualified for the NCAA Tournament. The baseball team racked up 73 points for Bentley in the standings, seventh most among DII programs, for its East Region championship and run to the College World Series.
