WALTHAM, Mass. – Long-time Falcon Courtney Finn '14 has been promoted to Senior Associate Athletics Director, Bentley Director of Athletics Vaughn Williams announced Monday.

Finn has been on the Bentley Athletics staff since 2014, starting out as an operations assistant. In 2017, she was promoted to Assistant Director of Financial Operations. Finn was promoted again to Associate Athletic Director in 2021. She also continues to serve as the Senior Woman Administrator.

"Courtney is a Falcon through and through," said Vaughn. "Her excellent leadership as a member of historic Bentley women's basketball teams has translated into an outstanding career with her alma mater. We're thrilled to see her continue to lead and grow at Bentley."
Finn was a four-year member of the Bentley women's basketball program, including the NCAA DII National Championship team. She will be inducted into the Bentley Hall of Fame this September.

Finn manages the department's day-to-day operations, primarily overseeing financial operations, sports medicine, strength & conditioning, equipment services, and student-athlete development. She also oversees the department's team of sport administrators.

Finn will continue to be directly involved with the university's human resources, admissions, financial aid, and procurement offices. She will further represent Bentley on various committees and at various conferences across the region and the nation. Finn will also be directly involved in strategizing ways to support and manage gender equity /Title IX and the athletic strategic plan.
