WALTHAM, Mass. – Not even three weeks into the season and the Bentley women's soccer team is already making history. The Falcons jumped 10 spots in the United Soccer Coaches national poll, ranking No. 7 this week.

It is the first time in school history that Bentley women's soccer is ranked in the top-10 nationally,

The Falcons are 5-0 this season, marking the program's best start since going 6-0 in 2001. The offense has been a machine, scoring 20 goals through five games. No other Northeast 10 team has 15 goals to this point of the season.

After netting a hat trick against Daemen this past weekend, Abi Hennessey is the conference's second-leading scorer with five goals. On the other side of the pitch, the Falcons have posted three shutouts.

Bentley hosts American International Friday, Sept. 18, at 4:30 p.m. It is the Falcons' Alumni Day and International Day.
