Gouvin scores but Bentley falls to #16 Post 2-1

WATERBURY, Conn. – Michael Gouvin scored in the 83rd minute but Bentley couldn't overcome two early goals allowed in a 2-1 defeat at #16 Post on Saturday.

The Eagles led 2-0 after just over 10 minutes on two goals by Francisco Yoma. Yoma first scored three minutes into the contest, then scored again with 10:21 elapsed.

Bentley outshot Post 15-9 overall and 8-3 in shots on goal, but Eagles goalkeeper Francisco Pinochet made seven saves.

Gouvin got the Falcons back in it with his first goal of the season in the 83rd minute, assisted by Matt McAuliffe and Filippo Perini, but Post held on in the final six-plus minutes.

The Falcons fell to 1-1-1 on the season. Their next game is on Wednesday night at #3 Franklin Pierce in a non-conference match.
