Brandon Bingel

Brandon Bingel enters his first season as an assistant baseball coach for the Bentley University Falcons in 2024-25.

Bingel was a two-way standout at Bryant University from 2014-2016. He appeared in 34 games on the mound, including 20 starts, going 15-8 while pitching to a 3.84 ERA. He played in 157 games and was versatile, as he started at seven different positions throughout his career. He posted a career slash line of .287/.365/.449 with 139 hits, 21 doubles, 5 triples, 16 home runs, and 89 RBI over his three collegiate seasons.

Bingel was a 2-time Division-I All-New England First Team and 2x All-NEC First team selection.

Following college, Bingel was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2016 and was named a Minor League Baseball All-Star, recording 19 straight scoreless innings to start his professional career. Bingel continued his two-way career in his last season of professional baseball slashing .308/.419/.404 in 95 games as a position player.

Bingel was inducted into the St. John’s Prep Hall of Fame in 2024.
