Co-captain … 2014 graduate of Shenendehowa High School who prepped at the Berkshire School … is majoring in information design and corporate communications, as well as liberal studies, with a concentration in ethics and social responsibility … minor in computer information systems … outstanding student … has played in 42 games during her first two seasons … was a member of Bentley’s lacrosse team in 2015, appearing in 11 lacrosse games as a freshman … three varsity letters in field hockey.

2016: her 11 games played included four starts at the end of the season … ZAG Field Hockey/NFHCA Division II National Honor Society for the second time. 

2015: saw action in 15 games as a reserve … named to the ZAG Field Hockey/NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad.

2014: appeared in 16 games off the bench in her first collegiate season … credited with an assist Oct. 26 at LIU Post.

High School: helped lead the Plainsmen to Class A state championship in field hockey … also lettered in lacrosse, earning Academic All-American honors … has also played with ADK field hockey, Albany Elite lacrosse and Clifton Park ice hockey.

Personal: studied abroad in Singapore during the spring 2017 semester … while studying there, volunteered at the Phuket elephant sanctuary in southern Thailand … involved at Bentley as an admissions tour guide and a career services colleague … daughter of Scott and Denise Virkler … has one brother, Mitchell (19) … age as of Sept. 1: 21.
