Graduate student and fifth-year slot receiver who majored in management as an undergraduate … minor in sociology … played in first 29 career games before injuries prematurely ended his junior season and limited him to one game last season … career totals entering this season include 131 receptions for 1,241 yards and nine TDs, 375 net rushing yards, 604 kickoff return yards with a 20,1 average, and 2,258 all-purpose yards … at start of 2019 season, was seventh in program history in career receptions … one of five Connecticut residents on the 2019 roster.

2018: Was injured and lost for the season in the first half of the season-opener against West Chester … had one carry for one yard, a 20-yard kickoff return and two fair catches (one on a kickoff, one on a punt).

2017: Led Falcons in receptions (51) and was second in receiving yards (485) despite missing the season’s final three games … also rushed for 123 yards, averaging 5.9 yards per carry, and averaged 92.4 all-purpose yards … caught 15 passes for 134 yards at Pace Sept. 30 … two TD catches Sept. 8 against Saint Anselm and again 15 days later against LIU Post … was named to the Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll twice (Sept. 11, Oct. 2) … was a starter in six of seven games.

2016: Started all 11 games for the Falcons and led the team in receptions (63) and receiving yards (596) … had a career game at LIU Post Sept. 24, pulling in 13 passes for 225 yards … that was the fourth highest single game total in program history at the time … broke a 50-yarder for a TD late in the fourth, tying the game at 24-24 at the time … that effort earned him a berth on the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll … also had a TD reception a week earlier at Merrimack … his 92-yard run for a touchdown against West Chester in the season-opener Sept. 3 was the longest in Bentley’s varsity history … during the final three games, averaged 8.3 receptions and 63.3 receiving yards.

2015: In 11 games as a freshman, led the Falcons in all-purpose running yards (824) and kickoff return yards (22.1 average with 509 yards on 23 returns) … also rushed for 135 yards on 29 carries (4.7 average) and caught 17 passes for 160 yards … was named to the Northeast-10 All-Rookie Team … debuted with 154 all-purpose yards at Mercyhurst Sept. 5 … returned four kickoffs for 101 yards against the Lakers ... only TD came against New Haven Sept. 11 on a nine-yard pass … 100+ kickoff return yards three times with a high of 137 on five returns vs. LIU Post Nov. 7 … in that game, had a season-best 58-yarder.

Before Bentley: 2015 graduate of Suffield Academy where he was a three-sport captain (football, wrestling and baseball) … helped Suffield capture four New England championships in football … first-team All-New England Prep School … earned high school All-America honors in wrestling.

Personal: Age as of Sept. 1: 23 … son of Carolyne and Andy Mahoney … has one sister, Katie (24).
