Bentley University

Senior defensive back who is majoring in finance with a minor in accounting … returned to his native state in January 2016 after one-and-a-half years at Wagner College … played in one varsity game during his two years with the Seahawks.

2016: Made 15 tackles during his first Bentley season while appearing in all 11 games … three tackles against Merrimack Sept. 16 and Oct. 15 at American International … also had two blocked punts, an 18-yard kickoff return and a seven-yard punt return … the blocks came in the Merrimack game and against Stonehill Oct. 22 … tied for team-high in special teams tackles (10), tackles on punt returns (5) and tackles on kickoff returns (5) … was Bentley’s special teams captain Oct. 7 vs. Assumption and Oct. 29 at Southern Connecticut State.

2015 (at Wagner): Appeared in only game Nov. 21 vs. Sacred Heart.

2014 (at Wagner): Played JV football.

Before Bentley: 2014 graduate of St. John’s Prep High School … as a team captain, helped the Eagles to the 2013 Division I MIAA state championship … played in the 2014 Agganis All-Star Game.

Personal: Age as of Sept. 1: 21 … son of Stephen and Cynthia Fawehinmi … has four siblings: Steven, Richard, Art and Sylvia … involved in National Association of Black Accountants and the Bentley Trading Society.
