2017: Did not appear in any games as a freshman.

Before Bentley: 2017 graduate of Christopher Columbus High School where he competed in football,  track and rugby … was team captain in football and rugby … helped the Explorers become the district champions as a sophomore and senior, the regional champions as a sophomore and junior and reach the state Class 8A championship game in 2014 … as a senior, led team in touchdowns, receptions and yards … was used as a receiver, quarterback, running back, kick returner and holder … AP Scholar … Second Honor Roll … was student body president.

Personal: Age as of Sept. 1: 20 … son of Orlando and Brenda Hidalgo … has two sisters, Alyssa (22) and Cassidy (20) … has volunteered with Boys and Girls Club of Miami.

2017: No game action
