Graduate cornerback from Worcester, Mass. who is pursuing his MBA with a focus in leadership … as an undergrad, majored in management, with a focus in entrepreneurship ... minor was in sports business management … was converted to defensive back last year after spending most of his career as a receiver … one of six Falcons from Worcester County.

Career: Prior to this season, had been in 24 career games with 38 receptions for 353 yards and three TDs … 571 all-purpose yards, including 298 in 2021 … defensively, had ten tackles and two pass break-ups.

2023: Became the first Falcon in Bentley's NE10 era to earn All-NE10 in two different positions... All-NE10 First Team as a corner, All-NE10 Second Team as a kick returner... Named All-American by Don Hansen Football Committee... Named to All-Super Region 1 Team by D2CCA for defense and special teams... Led the NE10 in interceptions (5)... Returned kickoffs for a touchdown in two different games against New Haven (Sept. 9; Nov. 11)... 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown is a school record, which occured in the opening kick of the second half against New Haven at home (Sept. 9)... Two interceptions against Assumption (Nov. 4)... Returned an interception for 48 yards against Post (Sept. 16)

2022: Was in six games and made eight tackles … two pass break-ups in a start at Assumption Oct. 15 … five tackles at Pace Nov. 12 … qualified for the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll following both semesters.

2021: Appeared in nine games with seven starts … caught 26 passes for 342 yards and three TD ,,, five catches for a career-best 76 yards in the NCAA playoffs vs. New Haven Nov. 20 … TDs against West Chester Sept. 3, Assumption Sept. 11 and New Haven Nov. 20 … 298 all-purpose yards included 42 on four punt returns and a 14-yard kickoff return.

2020: Bentley did not compete in any games.

2019: Was named to the Northeast-10 All-Rookie team … saw action in nine games with one start (Nov. 16 vs. American International) ... rushed for 57 yards in eight carries ... caught 12 passes for 110 yards ... averaged 15.1 yards on seven kickoff returns ... 273 all-purpose yards ... three receptions for 30 yards against Stonehill ... 69 all-purpose yards, including a 27-yard run, against Southern Connecticut Oct. 12.

Before Bentley: 2019 graduate of Doherty Memorial High School where he was a three-sport athlete (football, basketball, lacrosse) ... was a three-year starter for the football team ... two-time Worcester Telegram & Gazette Super Team ... named Division 3 Offensive MVP by the Joseph Mewhiney Central Massachusetts Football Coaches ...
