  • Recorded three tackles on the season, in each game he appeared in.
  • Had one solo stop each in games against Pace (Oct. 14) and AIC (Oct. 21).
  • Also had an assisted tackle at New Haven (Nov. 11).

2022: Saw action in nine games … only tackle of the season came Oct. 8 against Saint Anselm … made the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll following both semesters.

Before Bentley: 2022 graduate of North Attleboro High School where he was captain of the football team and the Boston Globe Division 3 Football Player of the Year as a senior … switched from QB to tailback and produced 1,138 rushing yards, 24 touchdowns and 37 extra points … finished career with a school record 369 points … played in the Division 3 Super Bowl and twice qualified for the tournament in baseball … earned second-team All-State honors … Hockomock League and Sun Chronicle all-star … Boston Globe All-Scholastic … Boston Herald all-star … also earned two letters in baseball and one in golf.

Personal: Son of Mike and Heatherly DeMattio … has one sister, Michaela, and two brothers, Zach and Andy … has coached a local football team … involved in Best Pals.
