Biography

2018-19: Finished 2nd on the team with 41 blocked shots, in 31 games played … tallied eight assists on the season … had an assist to help Bentley win at Robert Morris at the beginning of team’s 12 game unbeaten streak … had one assist in each game in series sweep of Canisius (Feb. 8-9) … notched an assist in game one of Atlantic Hockey quarterfinals series against Robert Morris.  

2017-18: Scored the first ever goal at Bentley Arena, 2:11 into the 2nd period vs. Army West Point (Feb. 16) … had three goals and 10 assists on the season for 13 points … notched one goal and two assists combined in team’s sweep of Robert Morris (Nov. 24-25) … had an assist in victory over Air Force (Feb. 9) … led team with 49 blocked shots … named to the Atlantic Hockey All-Academic team.

2016-17:  Played in 37 of 39 games … 3rd on team in assists (17) and finished season with 18 points … T-9th in Atlantic Hockey in points among defensemen … named Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Month for January after he notched one goal and 11 assists in eight games … named AHC Defenseman of the Week twice (Jan. 10 & 31) …  had an empty-net goal late in 3rd period to seal Bentley’s Frozen Fenway win over Army (Jan. 5) … notched three assists in come-from-behind 5-5 tie with Army one night later at the JAR … had four assists in series sweep of RIT (Jan. 27-28) with two in each game … recorded two assists vs. Holy Cross (Feb. 24) … finished season with a +4 rating ... named to the Atlantic Hockey All-Academic team.

Before Bentley: Played three seasons of junior hockey, all coming with the Portage Terriers in the MJHL (2013-16) … was named the MJHL’s 2015-16 Top Defenseman … one of five finalists for the Canadian Junior Hockey League Top Defenseman Award … in 52 regular season games last season, compiled a 13-29-42 scoring line … helped Portage win the 2016 MJHL championship, its 2nd straight … in the 2014-15 regular season, had a 9-10-19 scoring line in 36 games … helped the Terriers win both the 2015 MJHL title, and the 2015 Royal Bank Cup as the Canadian Junior A national champions … had a 3-20-23 scoring line in 54 games during the 2013-14 season.

Personal: Majoring in finance, with a minor in management … graduated from Elkhorn High School in Elkhorn, Manitoba, in 2014.
