2016-17:  Suited up for 32 games … finished season with a +4 rating … scored three goals and added three assists from the blue line … had two assists at Canisius (Dec. 2) … scored the tying goal with 1:47 left in 5-5 tie with Army (Jan. 6) in game Bentley trailed 5-2 in 3^rd period … also scored goals in a 3-0 win over Robert Morris (Feb. 10) and 5-2 victory over Sacred Heart (March 4) in game two of Atlantic Hockey first round series.

2015-16: Played in 37 games … blocked a team-best 71 shots … recorded two goals and five assists during the season … finished with a +2 rating … had an assist in in 6-2 win over Army West Point at the Barclays Center Nov. 1 … netted the lone goal in 1-1 tie with Holy Cross Dec. 11 … scored one goal and had two assists in team’s 5-3 win at Air Force Jan. 3 … recorded a season best +4 rating in 5-5 tie with AIC Jan. 23.

2014-15: Played in 36 games … +4 on the season with a team-best 62 blocked shots … had a 1-8-9 scoring line … made his collegiate debut in season opener at Quinnipiac and had an assist  (Oct. 11 ) … blocked a season-high six shots vs. Mercyhurst (Nov. 14) … scored first career goal and had an assist in 5-4 victory over Mercyhurst Nov. 15 … notched an assist in 2-1 win over RIT (Jan. 23) … had an assist in game two win over Mercyhurst in AHC Playoffs (March 14).

Before Bentley: Played three seasons of junior hockey, the last two with the Fargo Force of the USHL (2012-14) … played in 84 games over two seasons with the Force … had a 3-5-8 scoring line in 2013-14 and a 0-7-7 line in 2012-13 … served as Fargo’s assistant captain for the 13-14 season … started his junior career with the Alaska Avalanche of the NAHL, and played in 47 games during the 2011-12 season.

Personal: Majoring in finance … graduated from Leland High School in 2012 … age as of Oct. 15: 23 … parents' names are Andy Buchanan and Lila … has three siblings, Eric, Alex and Sean.
