Gudge Gentzler

Gudge Gentzler is in his third season as Bentley's Director of Hockey Operations and Player Development.

"Gudge attacks each day with a player centric mindset. He is constantly searching for ways to improve the experience of our student-athletes," said Bentley head coach Andy Jones. "He is a developing leader and an outstanding teammate. Gudge touches all aspects of our program with pride and is constantly lifting others up. Quite simply, he makes our program better."

Gentzler joined Bentley’s staff from Tufts, where he was an assistant coach from 2018-22. He is a 2015 graduate of Colgate, where he played 110 games as a forward during a four-year career with the Raiders.

The Manhattan Beach, California native played professionally with the Macon Mayhem of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) from 2015-18. He scored a total of 120 points in 151 games over the course of three seasons with the team.Â
