Named team captain of the Bentley hockey team for the 2021-22 season
2020-21: Tied for team lead with 19 blocked shots … played in 11 of team’s 16 games … had an assist and two blocked shots to help Bentley to a 7-3 win over Air Force in the first round of the Atlantic Hockey playoffs … had three blocks in games against Sacred Heart (Feb. 5 and 16) and Army West Point (Feb. 20) … named an All-American Scholar by the American Hockey Coaches Association … earned Atlantic Hockey All-Academic team recognition.
2019-20: Played in 28 games and blocked a team high 62 shots … had a season-high 7 blocks against Canisius on Jan. 10 … blocked six shots against Canisius in game two of the Atlantic Hockey first round, a 5-3 Falcons win … scored his first career goal to help Bentley to a 3-2 win over UNH on Oct. 18 … also scored a goal in a 7-4 win at Mercyhurst on Jan. 25.
2018-19: Played in 22 games and led the team with 48 blocked shots … rating of +12 was tied for 3rd highest on team … made Bentley debut at AIC on Oct. 16 … registered first career point with an assist in 3-3 tie against Dartmouth (Jan. 5) … notched an assist in each game of series at Niagara (Feb. 14-15) … also had an assist in 2-1 victory at Army in the penultimate game of the regular season (March 1).
Before Bentley: Played two seasons of junior hockey with the Junior Bruins in the NCDC (2016-18) ... named a league All-Star for the 2017-18 season ... as team captain, helped lead the Junior Bruins to the league playoffs ... totaled 6 goals and 14 assists combined in the regular and postseason ... had seven goals and 14 assists for 21 points during in 2016-17, his first season with the Junior Bruins ... played prep hockey at Cushing Academy and was named its Defensive Player of the Year.
Personal: Majoring in economics-finance ... serves as Vice President of Bentley's Student Athlete Advisory Committee for the 2021-22 academic year ... graduated from Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, Massachusetts in 2016 ... parents' names are Stacey and Michael ... has two siblings, Kylie and Emma.
