Biography

2018-19: Bentley’s 6th leading scorer with 20 points on seven goals and 13 assists, while also being one of the team’s top penalty killers … had a four game point streak from Nov. 16-Nov. 24, which included an assist in win at Boston College (Nov. 23) and one goal and one assist in win at Holy Cross one night later … notched one goal and one assist at UNH (Dec. 30) … netted two goals and added an assist in 5-2 victory at Robert Morris (Jan. 11) … recorded one goal and two assists in series sweep of Air Force (Feb. 1-2) … had one goal and one assist in 6-4 victory over Canisius (Feb. 9).

2017-18: Scored five goals to go along with 10 assists during sophomore season … scored in overtime to give Bentley a 3-2 win over No. 18 ranked UMass-Lowell (Nov. 28) … scored on a penalty shot one game later in 6-2 victory at AIC (Feb. 1) … had two assists in wins over Robert Morris (Nov. 24) and RIT (Feb. 2) … scored in the final game at the JAR vs. Air Force (Feb. 10).

2016-17:  Named to Atlantic Hockey All-Rookie team … scored winning goal in double overtime vs. Sacred Heart in game three of Atlantic Hockey first round to clinch series … finished season 3rd on team in points (23), 2nd in assists (16) and 5th in goals (7) … T-2nd in Atlantic Hockey in points among freshmen (23) … scored first career goal at Harvard (Nov. 26) … named Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Week in consecutive weeks (Dec. 6 & 13) … had one goal and two assists in series at Canisius (Dec. 2-3) … recorded one goal and two assists in series vs. Robert Morris (Dec. 9-10) … notched two assists in Frozen Fenway win over Army (Jan. 5).

Before Bentley: Played two seasons of junior hockey, both of which came with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs in the NAHL (2014-16) … named to the 2016 NAHL All-Midwest Division team … played in the 2016 NAHL Top Prospects Game … served as Fairbanks’ assistant captain for the 2015-16 campaign … was the 2nd leading scorer in the NAHL regular season with 83 points on 28 goals and 55 assists … helped Fairbanks win the 2016 NAHL championship … in the 2014-15 season for Fairbanks, notched 13 goals and 30 assists for 43 points in 57 games.

Personal: Majoring in finance, with a minor in management … graduated from Centennial High School in Circle Pines, Minnesota, in 2014 … parents’ names are Dan and Leigh … has two siblings, Tanner and Hans … father played hockey for the University of Wisconsin, and Hans plays at Alabama-Huntsville.
