Rapant's Huge Game Helps Bentley Draw With No. 16 Adelphi

GARDEN CITY, N. Y. – Sophomore goalie Harrison Rapant (Pittsfield, Mass./Pittsfield) had a tremendous game with 11 saves in helping Bentley University earn a 0-0 draw with No. 16 ranked Adelphi on the road Tuesday afternoon in a Northeast-10 match.

The Panthers came into the match at 4-0 in NE-10 matches, and with the 3rd most goals scored in the conference but Rapant and the rest of the Falcons kept a clean sheet. Rapant made six saves in the 2nd half and three in the 2nd 10 minutes of overtime.

In addition to the 11 shots on goal Rapant and the Bentley defense faced, they had to deal with eight Adelphi corner kicks.

It's the 2nd time this season Rapant has made double digit saves in a single game. He made 10 shots in Bentley's season-opening game against Post.

Looking ahead, the Falcons are back at home on Sunday to host Saint Rose at 1:00 pm as part of Homecoming Weekend.
