WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley was denied a win by a last second Bridgeport goal as the teams tied 1-1 on Wednesday in a non-conference match.
Bridgeport's Kristians Prieditis scored on a header from close range off a cross from Enzo Beatrix with seven seconds left to tie the game 1-1.
After a scoreless first half, Bentley took a 1-0 lead in the 77
th minute on
Logan Veloria's second goal of the season.
A Bridgeport foul just outside of the 18-yard box set Bentley up with a free kick.
Veloria and
Zach Spitznagle both stood over it, but it was Veloria who took it and he blistered a shot through Bridgeport's wall and past the outstretched arms of the keeper for the goal.

Cam Hall made six saves.
Bentley's record goes to 4-1-1. Their next game is on Saturday at Assumption at 5:00 pm.
