WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley men's soccer is set to host the Pace Setters on Saturday at 12 pm as part of Falcon Weekend. It will be the first NE10 game of the season for Bentley.
It will also be the first ever men's soccer matchup between these two schools. Pace's program returned this season after it was discontinued in 1990.
The Falcons are 2-1 so far and have allowed just two goals in 270 minutes. Sophomore
Owen MacKinnon was named the NE10 Defensive Player of the Week on Monday after he helped Bentley blank Franklin Pierce in a 2-0 win on Sept. 10.
The Setters are 3-2 on the season but are coming off a defeat to Queens College on Wednesday. They've earned wins over Dominican, Goldey Beacom and D'Youville.
Bentley has had balanced scoring so far, as all four of its goals have been scored by different players.
Following Saturday's game, the Falcons visit Saint Anselm on Wednesday.
