WALTHAM, Mass. – Owen MacKinnon was tabbed as the Northeast 10 Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week after two strong performances for Bentley.

The sophomore from Kingston, Mass., played all 180 minutes on the backline in games against Franklin Pierce and Holy Family.

MacKinnon was the only Falcons defensive player to play all 90 in the 2-0 victory over nationally ranked Franklin Pierce on Sept. 10. Bentley limited the Ravens to just two shots on goal in that match.

MacKinnon has played all 270 minutes in Bentley's three matches so far, as the team has gotten off to a 2-1 start.

The Falcons next play on Saturday at home against Pace as part of Falcon Weekend. Kickoff is at 12:00 pm.
