Adelphi Uses Doubles Advantage to Top Bentley, 6-3

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – Adelphi used a 3-0 advantage from the doubles matches on its way to a 6-3 victory over Bentley University in a Northeast-10 men's tennis match on Tuesday.

The teams split the six singles matches 3-3, but that wasn't enough for the Falcons to overcome the Panthers 3-0 edge from doubles play.
Bentley's wins in singles came from Chase Rosa (Hampton, N.H./Berwick) in the No. 4 match, Michael Fuca (Manchester, Mass./Manchester-Essex) in the No. 5 match and Kendall Au (West Essex, N.J./Essex Fells) in the No. 6 match.

Rosa posted a 7-6, 4-1 victory over Sabin Saveluc, while Fuca earned a 6-4, 6-4 win over David Robres. That was the third straight singles win for Fuca.

Au picked up his fifth straight singles win, with a 6-2, 6-4 triumph over Connor Dove.

Bentley's record fell to 8-7 overall and 3-3 in NE10 matches. They are back on the courts on Saturday at home against Le Moyne.
