Box Score WORCESTER, Mass. – Freshman Johann Fraser (Cambridge, Mass./Rindge & Latin) scored his third goal in as many games but Bentley fell at Assumption 4-1 on Saturday afternoon.
Fraser, who had two goals in the Senior Night win over Saint Rose, scored in the 22nd minute. That was the freshman forward's fourth goal of the season overall.
Fraser's goal, assisted by junior Evan Levine (Boca Raton, Fla./Olympic), pulled the Falcons to within 2-1. The Greyhounds scored two early goals in the 6th and 10th minutes to jump out to a 2-0 lead. The goals came from forwards Vanilton Xavier and Vegard Pernes.
Assumption though added a goal in the 40th minute from midfielder Ruben Faria. Xavier then scored his second of the day in the 52nd minute.
Falcons keeper Markus Foehr (Kailua, Hawaii) finished the day with seven saves.
Bentley will close out the regular season on Wednesday when they host New Haven at 12:00 pm.
