Box Score WALTHAM, Mass. – Caldwell scored two first half goals on its way to a 3-0 victory over Bentley in the season opener on Saturday.
Caldwell, which was playing its second match of the season after beating Assumption on Thursday, scored six minutes apart in the first half.
Andre Vieira scored in the 26th minute and Ingebrigt Braeden notched a goal in the 32nd minute.
In the 67th minute, Israel Dos Santos scored his second goal of the season to give Caldwell its third goal of the day.
Falcons goalkeepers Nick Maldarella and Joe Griffin combined for six saves. Griffin had four in the second half.
Bentley will be back in action on Wednesday when they visit Saint Anselm for a non-conference match at 3:30 PM.
