Waltham, Mass. – No. 7 nationally ranked Assumption won its ninth game in a row with a 4-0 victory over Bentley on Friday afternoon.
The defeat snapped Bentley's three-game home winning streak.
The Greyhounds scored twice in a span of 1:41 late in third quarter to begin to pull away. Mia Salah scored at the 43:00 mark and just under two minutes later, Daisy Stone found the back of the cage to give them a 3-0 advantage.
Assumption had taken a 1-0 lead at 18:35 on a goal by Elle Murray.
Bentley will look to bounce back on Wednesday when they visit Southern Connecticut.
