WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley men's swimming & diving team opened its 2024-25 season with a 150.5-111.5 victory over Wheaton at home Friday evening.

Results

The Falcons set the tone by winning the first event – the 200 medley relay. Calvin Ye, Kenneth Ryu, Zach Ellis, and Ethan Rehkopf combined to post a time of 1:35.63.

Ryu earned first place in the 100-breaststroke by finishing with a time of 59.41 seconds, and he also won the 200-breastroke by touching the wall in 2:15.27.

Jack Meekins won the 200-butterfly with a time of 2:04.50, and Daniel Ivanchikov won the 500-freestyle with a time of 4:57.27.

Ye earned his second overall win – and first individual win – by setting the pace in the 100-butterfly with a time of 51.91 seconds. Matt Walden was victorious in the 200-IM (2:01.93).

Bentley's next meet is at Babson, Oct. 26.
