Waltham, Mass. – Freshman Heidi Lawrence scored in the 78th minute as Bentley and No. 13 ranked Southern New Hampshire played to a hard-fought 1-1 draw on Tuesday afternoon.

Lawrence scored for the second straight match, after her 89th minute goal on Saturday at Southern Connecticut helped earn the Falcons a 1-1 draw.

The goal came off a throw-in by Gabby Vachon, who played it short to Bridget Gleason on the right edge of the penalty area. Gleason then lofted a cross to the far post where Lawrence was waiting to head the ball down and past SNHU keeper Claudia Keith.

The Penmen though equalized in the 85th minute on a goal by Ava Jakich-Kunze. A foul led to a free kick opportunity 25 yards out and Jakich-Kunze found the back the net to tie the match 1-1.

Bentley maintained its unbeaten record at home this season and are now 4-0-4. Overall they are 4-3-6 and 1-2-4 in Northeast 10 matches.
