Bentley Earns 1-0 Road Win over Saint Anselm

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Bentley went on the road and earned a big 1-0 victory over Northeast 10 rival Saint Anselm on Friday.

Falcons goalkeeper Claire Ewen made six saves for the team's seventh shutout of the season. That despite the Hawks having a 25-9 edge in total shots and 6-3 in shots on goal.

Bentley was far more efficient with its chances, as Abi Hennessey scored in the 23rd minute. The goal was her third of the season and was assisted by Gabby Vachon.

The Falcons improved 2-2-4 in NE10 matches and to 5-3-6 overall. They moved into a three-way tie for fourth place in the NE10 standings with 10 points.

Their next match is on Saturday, Nov. 2 against Pace for the final home match of the regular season.
