Feeney’s 2nd Half Goal Lifts Bentley to 1-0 Win over Pace

WALTHAM, Mass. – Graduate student Ryenne Feeney scored in the 54th minute to lift Bentley to a 1-0 victory over Pace on Saturday.

The Falcons won their second straight and finished the regular season unbeaten at home (5-0-4). Their eighth clean sheet of the season improved their records to 6-3-6 overall and 3-2-4 in the NE10.

Feeney scored with a shot from deep in the left corner of Bentley's attacking end, and with a shot that was lofted over Pace's keeper and into the far post.

A defender who was making her 51st career start on Saturday, it was her second career goal.

Jillian Hendriksen, last week's NE10 Defensive Player of the Week, had the assist on the goal.

Claire Ewen, who earned her fifth career NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week award on Monday, made six saves. It's her 18th career shutout.

Bentley will close out the regular season on Wednesday night at AIC with a chance to secure a home playoff spot.
