WALTHAM, Mass. – Backed by one of the best quarterback-receiver duos in the country, the Bentley football team returns to the road to take on Post Saturday, Oct. 26, for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
Â
Pullman to Bradford
Brett Pullman's 2,046 passing yards ranks eighth in NCAA D-II, and
Rashon Bradford's 770 receiving yards ranks sixth in the nation. Â Bentley is one of only four teams in the country with a quarterback and receiver that rank top-10 nationally in those categories.
Â
NE10's best
In addition to his national rankings,
Rashon Bradford is by far the conference's top receiver. He has 51 catches so far, 19 more than the next receiver. His 770 receiving yards are 139 more than the NE10's second-leading receiver.

Special completion
Junior Punter
Matt Richardson was named the NE10 Special Teams Player of the Week following Bentley's 27-14 win over American International (Oct. 19). Early in the second quarter against American International (Oct. 19), Bentley lined up to punt from the Yellow Jackets' 43-yard line. Richman stood back near midfield, received the snap, and lofted a perfect pass to a wide openÂ
Joey Disalvo. Disalvo sprinted down the field until he was tackled at the three-yard line. It was Richardson's first career pass attempt.
Â
On the QB hunt
Bentley's 13 sacks rank second in the NE10.
Joe Rivers' four sacks stand as the second-best total in the conference, and
Isaiah Gomes is close behind with three sacks of his own.

Graduate student running back
Vinnie Holmes was one yard shy of reaching 100 rushing yards against AIC last week. It was his second game this season with exactly 99 rushing yards (at Saint Anselm, Sept. 14). Holmes began the season with 105 rushing yards at West Chester (Sept. 7), which remains his lone 100-yard game this season.
Â
NE10 landscape
Five of nine conference teams are .500 or better overall, and six are .500 or better in conference action. With a 5-2 overall record and 3-2 in the NE10, Bentley enters the weekend in fifth place in the conference.
Â
Scouting Post (1-6, 0-5 NE10)
The Eagles' lone win this season was in the season-opener against West Virginia Wesley College (Aug. 31), as Post started the season 1-0 with the 41-24 victory. Despite having just one win, Posts' offense has been respectable. The Eagles are averaging 24.4 points per game, which is the third-best mark in the NE10. However, the defense allows 36.0 points per game. Only AIC's scoring defense is worse in the NE10. Isaiah Emmanuel's 585 rushing yards ranks third in the conference, and Joshua Tracey is the NE10's second leading receiver with 30 catches for 631 yards this season.
