WELLESLEY, Mass. – The Bentley men's swimming & diving team came up short at Babson, 154-126, Saturday afternoon.
Results
Leighton Wielgoszinski won the 1,000-freestyle by touching the wall in 10:22.17.
Andrew Matjucha placed second in the event with a time of 10:32.34. Wielgoszinski also won the 500-freestyle by timing in at 4:57.36.
Calvin Ye's 100-backstroke time of 53.19 seconds was good for first, and
Ethan Rehkopf won the 100-freestyle with a time of 48.64 seconds.
Matthew Walden (1:59.99) and
Alex Yurkewicz (2:01.06) finished first and second, respectively, in the 200-backstroke.
Bentley won the 200-freestyle by posting a time of 1:26.78.
Daniel Lehr,
Daniel Ivanchikov, Rehkopf, and Ye were on the winning team.
The Falcons return home next week, Nov. 2, to host Assumption.
