GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – Bentley fell to Adelphi in a penalty kick shootout in the semifinals of the Northeast 10 Championship on Thursday night.
The No. 1 seeded Panthers won the shootout 4-2 over the No. 4 seeded Falcons to advance to Sunday's finals. They will play the No. 2 seed Franklin Pierce.
90 minutes of regulation and 20 minutes of overtime ended with the teams deadlocked at 0-0 to send the match to PKs.

Claire Ewen continued her stellar season with seven saves over 110 minutes, including one save in overtime.
Adelphi, who shot first in the shootout, won it in the fifth round when goalkeeper Alba Lopez Martinez scored on her attempt.
Bentley has now gone five straight games and 470 minutes without conceding a goal. Their record goes to 8-3-7 on the season.
They were ranked fifth in the latest NCAA East Region rankings. The selection show is Monday at 7:00 pm.
