WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley travels to Worcester on Thursday night to take on Assumption in its final non-conference game of the season. The Falcons then head to New York to face Saint Thomas Aquinas on Saturday for their NE10 opener.
Another Ranked Foe
Thursday's game will be the fourth ranked team Bentley has faced to begin the season, with the Greyhounds ranked No. 3 in this week's NFHCA poll. That means the Falcons will have faced the top-three teams in the NFHCA poll all in a row. They played then-No. 2 East Stroudsburg on Saturday and No. 1 Kutztown on Sunday.
They faced No. 6 West Chester to begin the season.
Last Time Out
The Falcons nearly knocked off East Stroudsburg at home on Saturday. A goal in the second quarter by
Gracie Moore gave them a 1-0 lead that stood up until the final five minutes of the game.
Mia Trottie had nine saves on the afternoon.
The Falcons then fell to Kutztown 5-1 on Sunday.
Isabella Tuccio had the goal in the 4
th quarter.

Thursday's game will be the 71
st all-time meeting between Bentley and Assumption. The series began in 1974 and the Greyhounds are the team Bentley has played the most in its history.
The teams split two games last season. Bentley won a non-conference game at home 3-2 and Assumption won the NE10 game in Worcester 2-0.
The Falcons are 5-0 all-time against St. Thomas Aquinas. They won last year's game at home 3-1.
