Abi Hennessey scored in the 89
th minute to earn the Falcons a 1-1 draw with Saint Michael's in the Northeast 10 Conference opener on Saturday afternoon.
Trailing 1-0 after a Purple Knights goal by Sarah Gormley in the 78
th minute, Hennessey's goal with just 1:30 left on the clock earned the Falcons a point in the conference standings.
A Saint Michael's foul set up a free kick opportunity for Bentley near midfield. Goalkeeper 
Claire Ewen came up to take the kick and booted it down into the penalty area, which set off a scramble for the ball. 
Gabby Vachon was first to it and her shot attempt was blocked, but Hennessey was there to poke home the rebound from close range to make it 1-1.
Bentley got the better of the first half with a 7-5 edge in shots, 3-2 in shots on goal, but couldn't find the back of the net in the opening 45 minutes.
