Box Score West Chester, Pa. – Emma Halas scored a late goal in the fourth quarter, but #6 ranked West Chester defeated the Falcons 6-1 on Sunday in the season opener.

West Chester was playing its first game of the season, while the Falcons took the field for the first time in 2024.

Bentley's goal came off a break down the left by Lida Coco, who fed a pass to Layla Conway for a shot that was saved. Bentley though maintained possession and a shot from Emma Halas got through traffic and found the far post.

Gracie Moore had the assist on the goal.

The Falcons will now prepare for their home opener on Wednesday night against Southern N.H.
