Men’s Soccer Continues Winning Ways with 4-1, Senior Day Victory over Saint Michael’s

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley men's soccer continued its winning ways on Saturday with a 4-1, Senior Day victory over Saint Michael's.

The Falcons improved to 5-0 in Northeast 10 games with the win and to 7-1-1 overall.

Bentley started fast with a goal in the 4th minute from Daimon Pollard, who was one of eight student-athletes recognized on Senior Day. Pollard struck a shot from the left corner of the penalty area from about 15 yards out for the goal.

In the 12th minute Bentley made it 2-0 on a goal by Zach Spitznagle. An initial shot from close range by Lukas Drahos was saved but Spitznagle was in the right position in front of the net to score off the rebound.

That was the start of a big day for Drahos, who scored the next two goals.

He scored in the 49th minute off an assist from Michael Gouvin to make it 3-0, then scored again just under four minutes later for a 4-nil lead.

Only a late goal by the Purple Knights with 28 seconds left denied Bentley its fifth clean sheet of the season.

Prior to the game, Bentley's Senior Class of 2026 was recognized with the Senior Day ceremony; captains Michael Haikal, Luke Mollenhauer and Cam Hall, and Pollard, James Atkinson, Wynn Hammond, Parker Higgins and Alex Pasiakos.

The Falcons will look to keep it going on Tuesday when they host Assumption at 3:00 pm.
