Olivia Matthews scored for the third straight contest as Bentley women's soccer and St. Thomas Aquinas battled to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday in a non-conference matchup.
The fourth goal of the season for Matthews came in the 70
th minute and tied the game 1-1 after the Spartans took the lead in the 37
th minute.
Matthews previously scored in Saturday's 6-0 win over D'Youville and a 1-0 victory at Assumption on October 8.
Bentley outshot the Spartans 19-6 overall and 14-4 in shots on goal but the two keepers for St. Thomas Aquinas came up with 12 saves combined.
Bentley's record goes to 4-4-3 overall. They return to action on Saturday at home against Southern Connecticut State for Senior Day. Kickoff is at 2:00 pm.
