WALTHAM, Mass. - The two members of Bentley's Senior Class,
McKenzie Carey and
Gracie Moore, had huge games to lead the Falcons to an 8-0 Senior Day victory over Saint Thomas Aquinas.
Carey had four goals and Moore notched one goal and two assists as Bentley improved to 8-1 in NE10 games and 10-5 overall. They have won 10 out of their last 11 games.
Carey had a hat trick in the first half alone. She scored the game's first goal 2:05 into the contest and added goals 12:02 into the first quarter and 11:06 into the second quarter. She notched her fourth of the day late in the third frame to give Bentley an 8-0 lead.
Moore had the assist on Carey's second and third goals. She scored herself, for a team leading 10th time this season, 5:42 into the second half.
Goals were also scored by
Madeline Krepelka and
Layla Conway in the first quarter and
Sophie Manchester in the second quarter.
Goalkeepers
Annie Lorenz and
Olivia Heryla combined for Bentley's fourth shutout of the season and second in a row.
The Falcons next face Saint Anselm away on Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
