SPRINGFIELD, Mass. –
Lukas Drahos,
Michael Haikal and
Daimon Pollard each scored goals as the #7 ranked Bentley men's soccer team notched another win by beating AIC 3-2 on Wednesday night.
Drahos and Haikal scored five minutes apart in the first half to give Bentley a 2-0 lead.
The Yellow Jackets pulled a goal back just after halftime, but Pollard added an insurance goal in the 69
th minute to make it 3-1. AIC added a late goal with 24 seconds remaining.
Bentley, which moved up three spots in this week's United Soccer Coaches poll, is now unbeaten in its last nine matches at 7-0-2.
They improved to 9-1-2 overall and 6-0-1 in NE10 matches for 19 points.
Drahos gave Bentley the lead in the 17
th minute with his fifth goal of the season, assisted by
Antonio Santos and
Michael Gouvin. Just over five minutes later, Haikal netted his sixth of the year, assisted by
Wynn Hammond and
Logan Veloria.
AIC's Pietro Botasso scored 2:54 after halftime to cut Bentley's lead to 2-1, but in the 69
th minute Pollard's third goal of the year made it 3-1.

Bentley next plays on Saturday at home against Adelphi. Kickoff is at 2:00 pm.
