Hall, Santos Help Bentley Earn 1-1 Tie vs. Adelphi

WALTHAM, Mass. – Goalkeeper Cam Hall and forward Antonio Santos shined as the #7 ranked Bentley men's soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw against Adelphi on Saturday afternoon.

On a day the 1975 NCAA Tournament team was honored, this season's Falcons continued a push to make history of their own as they earned a crucial point in the standings with just one NE10 game left.

Bentley (9-1-3, 6-0-2 NE10) leads the NE10 with 20 points, one better than SNHU. They can clinch the regular season title with a win at Southern Connecticut next Saturday.

Santos scored in the 22nd minute to give Bentley an early 1-0 lead.

A little over two minutes before halftime, the Panthers equalized on a goal by Zain Suterwalla.

Hall helped keep the match tied in the second half with two standout saves to deny Adelphi scoring chances from close range.

He denied Sam Nolan from close range in the 71st minute with a kick save. Then in the 76th minute he denied Suterwalla from close range on the near post.

The tie extended Bentley's unbeaten streak to 10 matches at 7-0-3.
