WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley women's basketball team is favored to win its fifth consecutive Northeast 10 title, according to a preseason poll of conference head coaches that was released Wednesday.

The Falcons received nine first-place votes and totaled 81 points. Southern Connecticut came in second in the poll with 67 points (one first-place vote), and Saint Anselm totaled 62 points to place third in the poll.
Bentley's key returners include guards
Niya Morgen and
Cassidy Yeomans. Morgen earned All-NE10 Second Team last year, while Yeomans enters her third consecutive season as Bentley's starting point guard. The Falcons also return post player
Ciara Norman, who earned NE10 Tournament Most Valuable Player during the 2023-24 season.
Bentley's 2025-26 season starts Nov. 15-16 in the Southern Connecticut State Tipoff Tournament. The first game of the year is against Mercy (Nov. 15), and the following day Bentley takes on Georgian Court.
The Northeast 10 opener is at Southern New Hampshire, Nov. 19. Bentley makes its home debut Dec. 6 against Saint Michael's.
