WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley women's basketball senior
Julia Elie and sophomore
Brennan Doran were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the CSC recently announced. It is the first such honor for both Falcons.
In addition to their exceptional academic standing, the two Bentley post players were crucial in the Falcons capturing the Northeast 10 Regular Season Championship by posting a 17-1 Northeast 10 record (23-5 overall).
Elie earned All-NE10 Third Team in 2025-26. She was Bentley's leading rebounder in 2025-26, averaging 6.1 boards per game. Elie's 50.0 field-goal percentage led the NE10 by a wide margin – no other player shot better than 48.0-percent from the floor.
Elie set career highs in scoring (17) and rebounding (14) in a conference win over Saint Anselm (Feb. 4). She finished the year with five double-doubles.
Following a slow start to her sophomore season, Doran looked a poised veteran in her final 10 games of the season. During that stretch, Doran averaged 12.0 points per game while shooting 68.8-percent from the floor. She scored a career-high 19 points twice, one of which was in Bentley's NE10 Semifinal win over Saint Michael's (March 5).
