Abi Hennessey scored on a penalty kick in the 63
rd minute but Bentley fell to Saint Anselm 2-1 on Friday night.
The Hawks jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first half on a pair of goals by Nina Muir, in the 18
th and 22
nd minutes.
A Saint Anselm handball in the penalty area gave the Falcons a penalty kick opportunity, and Hennessey converted for her third goal of the season and second in three games.
Bentley though was unable to find the equalizer over the final 27-plus minutes.
The Falcons, who fell to 5-6-3 overall and 2-4-1 in NE10 matches, next play on November 1 at Pace.
