WALTHAM, Mass. – Undefeated in the Northeast 10, undefeated in the NCAA D-II East Region, and earning NE10 honors on a weekly basis. The Bentley volleyball team continued to add accolades to its 2025 season when
Sophia Poehlein was named NE10 Player of the Week, and
Tory Vitko named NE10 Setter of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

For Poehlein, it is her third NE10 Player of the Week honor of the season. Vitko earned her sixth NE10 Setter of the Week award this fall.
Poehlein totaled 25 kills between Bentley's two road wins last week. The Falcons beat Assumption in four sets (Oct. 21), followed by a sweep at Southern New Hampshire (Oct. 24). Poehlein hit over .400 in both matches, including a .444 mark against Assumption.
Vitko played in five sets last week, totaling 55 assists. She had 31 assists against SNHU, and 24 against Assumption.
Vitko's season average of 9.30 assists per set ranks second in the NE10, and Poehlein ranks second with 3.64 kills per set.
Up next on Bentley's schedule is a non-conference match at Bridgeport Thursday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m.
